Partner With Us — Help Expand God’s Kingdom Through Shiloh

Why We Give

At Shiloh, we believe giving is more than money — it’s worship, obedience, and a commitment to community. When you give, you join us in living out our mission, fulfilling our calling, and bearing fruit for the Kingdom.

Our core values ground everything we do:

  • The Word of God — we teach, preach, and live Scripture.

  • Love — we serve one another with Christlike compassion.

  • Holiness — we strive for integrity and godly living.

  • Fellowship — we build real, caring relationships.

  • Missions — we reach out, locally and globally, with the Gospel.

Our vision, Bearing the fruit of the spirit while clothed with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience to make heaven crowded.

Supported by scripture: Galatians 5:22–23; Colossians 3:12; 1 Corinthians 9:21–23

Worship Through Giving

Giving is an act of worship. At Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, we give because God has already given so much to us. Your generosity helps us continue the work of ministry—sharing the Gospel, serving our community, supporting missions, and building a church where people can grow in Christ.

Learn More About Tithes & Offering

We believe The Word of God is at the core of everything we do.

That’s why we want to thoughtfully answer your questions about giving — so you understand not just how to give, but why we give. Our heart is to inform, not pressure, and to invite you into faithful stewardship with understanding and peace.

Whether you’re new to giving, or you’ve been giving but want more knowledge behind it — Review these FAQs below.

  • Tithing is the practice of giving one-tenth (10%) of our increase (income) back to God as an act of worship and obedience.

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.”Malachi 3:10

Tithing is a biblical principle that teaches us to honor God first with what He has already blessed us with.

    • Tithes = the first 10% given back to God

    • Offerings = any gift given beyond the tithe

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion.”2 Corinthians 9:7

Offerings are gifts of generosity and gratitude, given freely as the Spirit leads.

  • Giving allows the church to carry out its mission of:

    • Advancing the Gospel

    • Supporting ministry and missions

    • Caring for those in need

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”Matthew 6:21

Your giving reflects your partnership in God’s work through the local church.

  • No one is forced to give. Giving is a personal act of worship and obedience, not a requirement for belonging.

    “God loves a cheerful giver.”2 Corinthians 9:7

We encourage prayerful, intentional giving — not pressure.

  • Yes. God honors the heart behind the gift, not the size of it.

“She out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”Mark 12:44

Every gift matters to God and makes a difference in ministry.
